For this task we done haiku poems. The structure of a haiku poem is 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables, syllables is a group of vowel sounds pronouced in a word. For this task we did our haiku on tamaki awa. When im imagining the tamaki awa, I think of how our ancestors were on their wakas traveling out to get kai moana (Sea food).

I found this task entertaining because of how challenging it was to find syllables at the exact amount, well making sure it all made sense as a poem.

The structure of a haiku peom is 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and 5 syllables, syllables are chunks of a word eg: high teperature has 5 syllables. For this task we could choose a topic out of water, ice, and fire. We choose fire and we came up with words that related to fire in the amount of syllables. I enjoyed this task because I had fun disscusing in my group which words we were going to choose.
