Today for sports I learnt american football skills.

First I learnt how to throw. I grip the ball with a donminat hand. Aim with a non donmiant hand and point where you want the ball to go. Face streat when throwing to see where the ball is going. Use an L shape when throwing the ball.

Next I learnt how to catch the ball. When somebody is throwing the ball make a triangle to catch the ball.

I enjoyd going into groups of three. I did well on throwing the ball. I need to improve on catching the ball.

We learned about different T-ball skills. The skills we learned were hitting,running and throwing.

First we practised throwing by playing ball rain.

Next we practised running between the the bases by having a relay.

Lastly we practsed hitting. We hit the ball on the tee.

I enjoyed having are race. I did well in running to the bases. I need to inprove on hitting.

Today we learnt Hockey skills.

First Mr Ogilvie taught us how to hold the hokey stick. You put your left hand on the top then you put right hand on the end of the grip or far more down if you want to.

Next we learnt how to drible, you have to stop the ball then you make it go to the other side.

After that we had to get in to groups of two. Then we learnt how to do are sweep past then I went to the white line and your pratner had to go to the other line which is the yellow line .

Lastly we learnt trapping the ball. You would have the ball and then you have to try trap the ball and your pranter has to try and get it.

I enjoyed the competition girls vs boys .

I think I did well at almost hitting the cone .

I need to improve my dribbling skills.
